As the old saying goes, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” And that’s precisely what the Ukrainian IT industry has done in the face of adversity. Despite the challenges brought on by war and conflict, the sector continues to thrive and innovate.

Alva Commerce’s CEO, Vadym Yuhas, recently shared his insights on his experience collaborating with the Ukrainian tech industry at two Code of Resilience events

Held in Bergen on February 23rd, it was hosted by the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, together with the IT Ukraine Association and VIS.

The event brought together industry leaders to discuss the status of the Ukrainian tech sector and its importance for the country’s economy. Vadym was a featured speaker at this event and spoke about the topic “From warzone to workzone,” highlighting the resilience of infrastructure and delivery in the industry.

The second event was held in Oslo on February 28th. It was also hosted by the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, along with IT Ukraine Association and IKT-Norway.

This meeting focused on managing security in outsourcing, as well as the resilience of infrastructure and delivery in the tech sector. Vadym participated in a panel discussion alongside other industry leaders, discussing how Ukraine and Norway can work together on digital rebuilding.

At Alva Commerce, we are incredibly proud of Vadym’s participation in these events. We believe that his insights will help shape the future of the Ukrainian IT industry. We are committed to staying at the forefront of the industry and providing our clients and partners with the best possible service.
